THE DISTINCTIONS OF VERBS OF STEALING AMONG ARABIC-ENGLISH TRANSLATORS

This paper investigates the distinctions of verbs stealing among Arabic-English translators. First, four selected for this study were ‘shoplift’, ‘rob’, ‘burglarize’, and ‘heist’. Second, visual stimuli developed along with their dimensions distinctions. Six participants presented these asked to describe them in Arabic English, respective definitions. Semantic analysis English naming pattern revealed that had not demonstrated any knowledge regard English-based meaning verbs, showing no consistent them.
